Who handles your information

Georgie Baba is responsible for the personal information used to handle enquiries through this website. Contact hello@GeorgieBaba.com with questions or requests about your information.

What you share, and why

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, interests and preferred setting. You can also leave a short message. These details are used to answer you, discuss suitable services and arrange a conversation. Name and email are needed to reply; you can choose “I'm not sure yet” or “Let's discuss it” for the other required fields.

Please do not include medical details, phone numbers or home addresses. Any information needed for a session will be discussed separately. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Basis for handling enquiries

Where you ask about booking a service, your information is used to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement. Other correspondence is handled in the legitimate interests of answering questions and running the practice, balanced against your privacy and reasonable expectations.

Where your information goes

Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions, including spam checks. Enquiries may be stored in the Netlify dashboard and in email correspondence with Georgie. Hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect their services. Your enquiry is not stored in the website’s GitHub repository.

Service providers may process information outside the UK. See Netlify’s privacy information for its processing and international transfer arrangements. Contact Georgie for information about the providers used for your correspondence.

How long it is needed

Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any continuing conversation. The criteria are whether the enquiry is still active, whether a session follows, and whether records are needed to resolve a query or meet a legal obligation. You can ask for information that is no longer needed to be deleted. Session and payment records, if you become a client, are handled separately.

Your choices

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy where that right applies. Email Georgie to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Links and website features

Instagram and retreat links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. This site uses externally hosted fonts, so your browser contacts the font provider when loading them. It does not embed a live Instagram feed or use your enquiry for automated decisions.
